Southern Cross Sheds is an Australian, family-owned, and locally operated shed construction company based on the Sunshine Coast, and the Darling Downs, which has serviced all of Queensland since 2009.
Southern Cross Sheds Company History
We began as a small husband and wife team, which has grown over the last 15+ years into the large, dynamic, and market leading company that we are today. Now, with a well-earned reputation for superior quality, and over 75 years of combined experience within our team, we are the experts in shed building and design.
Our specialist team has built some truly impressive structures over the years. From mining infrastructure sheds, QFES fire stations and sporting arenas, through to large commercial and industrial buildings – we do it all! A stand-out project is the Nambour Tramway Station, which was the culmination of many years of hard work, with the collaboration of numerous passionate people coming to fruition to deliver an amazing structure that makes us all very proud.

Some of our team members have been with us since the start. However, without all of them, Southern Cross Sheds wouldn’t be as successful as it is today. We currently employ 9 staff, and use the services of 12 different, industry-leading subcontractors.
We can design and construct any type of steel shed you need (however, no tilt slabs) – from huge commercial and industrial sheds, right through to aircraft hangers, arenas, stables, rural sheds, and other steel structures. We truly do it all!
We strive to meet the highest service and construction standards in the industry, while remaining competitively priced. Almost nothing falls outside the realm of possibility when you deal with Southern Cross Sheds. We excel in going “above and beyond” for our clients, and we certainly love a challenge!
